In my second term, we will fight to invest in social housing, to secure rent freezes statewide, and to hold greedy landlords accountable.

Workers deserve single-payer, universal healthcare. As a mom, a worker, and a patient myself, I have experienced the greed of insurance companies firsthand. We should not have to choose between our lives or paying the bills.
As your State Representative, I will continue to work with grassroots organizations to win single payer in the State of Oregon. And together, we will continue to fight Big Pharma and the insurance lobby.

Workers deserve a quality education from K through college. As a first-generation college student and graduate, I know the transformative value of an education. And as a labor representative for the largest teachers union in the state, I have witnessed the crisis caused by austerity for our students, parents, and educators.
If re-elected, we will continue to fight for fully funded public schools and free community college.

My parents came to this country as Braceros. Growing up, they taught me that anything was possible with hard work and dedication. That dream is now under assault by fascists pursuing an agenda of forever wars in the Middle East, ripping families apart, and raising the price of a trip to the grocery store. They want to sell this country to their friends in the oil industry and Big Tech, but we won’t let them.
